On Saturday, September 28, 2019 (6-9 PM), The Cottage School and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Mendham will host An Evening of Wine and Paella, a fun night of wine tasting and paella. The proceeds will be shared between both entities. The school will use proceeds to cover expansion extra-expenses. The church will use the proceeds to benefit The Good Shepherd Home in Cameroon. Sister Jane Mankaa, its founder, who does not turn any child away, currently houses over 150 orphaned children who are fed, clothed, educated and loved. The children truly live in a loving family environment with over a hundred and fifty brothers and sisters.
Julie Maurer, St. Mark’s own oenophile, also known in town as “The Wine Fairy”, will be in attendance to assist with questions and discussions. The paella will be sponsored by The Cottage School, located in Gladstone and at St. Mark’s. As part of the evening, a silent auction, as well as a service auction, will be held.
We'd be most appreciative if The Cottage School families would consider contributing an item, gift-certificate or service to the auction. Please let us know by September 14th if this is something that you will be able to do!
